Our Compact and Bale service team completed this installation recently in Nottingham.
The customer is a well known clothing retailer generating 1000s of cardboard clothing boxes each day from their pick and pack operation.
For some years they’ve had one of our Durapac closed end semi automatic balers but as their business has grown, so the machine needed upgrading.
This is a perfect example of the “Automate to Save” principal that we and Strautmann Umwelttechnik GmbH promote.
The client is spending more on the rental of this fully automatic BaleTainer but they are saving a far greater sum by freeing up their staff for profitable work.
For every working hour, a typical warehouse employee gives a 4-6:1 return on their cost, so freeing them from rear facing “service” work, to do forward facing “profitable” work is a huge win for any business!
And let’s face it, manually loading cardboard into a baler then tying off and ejecting bales might keep you fit but it’s tough work x 8 hours, lots of repetitive movements and lifting/shunting.
