Durapac’s proven CB28 sealed portable compactors are high-quality, heavy-duty machines designed for sites with large sizes and volumes of waste and recyclable materials. They are collected for transport to disposal by roll-on-off lorries and typically hold 8 to 10 tonne of compacted waste dependent on materials.
Using twin cross-over cylinders for a small footprint and offering an oversized infeed aperture, the CB28 can be used to compact any kind of compactable materials, e.g. residual waste, moist waste, commercial waste, organic waste and oversized waste.
Available with a choice of integral container sizes between 14 and 24m3, the CB28 portable compactor offers high performance, small footprint and low maintenance. Requiring no permanent fixings, it can be sited on tarmac, block-paving, rough ground, etc.
The oscillating steel scrapers and maintenance free, fully guided press head reduce wear problems, waste build up and cleaning therefore reducing labour, breakdowns and repair costs.
As standard all CB28 compactors have a low energy motor, quite running pump, Hardox steel compaction chamber floor, surface lacquered finish (including corrosion Protection Class C 3), continuously welded seams (which prevent corrosion) and are fully CE compliant. They are offered with a choice of side or top hung rear door, open or enclosed hoppers, bin lifters, auto-opening lids, safe access doors and rubber seals to prevent leaks.
