The new Packmat machines will compact all waste types (cardboard, plastics, metals, green waste, wood, bulky items and domestic waste) quickly and efficiently at ratios of up to 80% so performing the function of a number of traditional waste compactors.
We also offer Trackmat, Bramat and Isotract systems to:
The new Packmat PK301 can significantly reduce volumes of waste (from paperboards to metals) and transport costs, and offers optimisation of ration weight/volume in all types of open top containers mounted on a standard hook-lift truck. The rate of compaction is up to 80% depending on the waste type. The machine has a fast start up time with installation of the truck and lifting of the roller in less than 2 minutes and compaction in less than 1 to 2 minutes. With just one Packmat it is possible to compact on several sites.
The new Packmat PK451 is aimed at the needs of Civic Amenity Sites where it can compact all materials, from metals, cardboard, plastics, wood, bulky items and domestic waste to green waste in open containers, and then remove and replace these containers when full. It performs the function of a number of traditional waste compactors in one machine. As well as compacting waste materials, the new Packmat PK-451 will also bring you the additional versatility and benefits of being able to move full containers out of the way and empty containers into your waste areas without needing the use of a hook-lift vehicle.
We asked clients using a new PK451 Packmat machine to record the actual reductions and cost savings achieved, the findings were as follows:
Cardboard |
before Packmat = 1 tonne |
after Packmat = 6 tonne. |
Wood |
before Packmat = 2-3 tonne |
after Packmat = 6-8 tonne |
Green waste |
before Packmat = 4-6 tonne |
after Packmat = 10-12 tonne. |
CA waste |
before Packmat = 4-5 tonne |
after Packmat = 10-12 tonne. |
Metals |
before Packmat = 3-4 tonne |
after Packmat = 8-9 tonne. |
One site previously averaged 50 full containers per week; they now fill on average 15 containers per week with the Packmat. Which means they now only require the services of a hook-lift lorry two days per week instead of seven (saving some £500 per day!)
