Collection Service

compact and bale cardboard collection with moffet

Disposing of packing or production waste cleverly can help save your company money and earn you money at the same time. For many of our customers, as well as supplying their equipment we also collect their materials for recycling (we collect on average, over 11,000 tonnes of cardboard per annum from companies nationwide).

Most frequently, we collect cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminium and polythene films although we can arrange the collection of a wide range of materials through our extensive network of recyclers.

  • We pay the same market rates for all bales weighing over 100kg.
  • Most recyclers only pay market rates for "mill size" bales weighing 400kg or over.
  • We pay the same market rates for bales tied with twine, tape or wire. This means that you can use twine or tape instead of wire. On most balers, both are cleaner, cheaper, easier and safer to use.
  • We pay a competitive rates for all loads weighing over 3 tonne. This keeps the number of bales you need to store on site down to a minimum.
  • We pay premium rate for all loads weighing over 20 tonne.

Each month we will send you a statement for the tonnage collected in the previous month. We then ask you to send us your invoice by return and make payment on a 30-day monthly account. Annually we will also send you a certificate of recycling.

Cardboard

We offer a free collection for baled cardboard with a self-loading vehicle in minimum 3 tonne loads and pay revenue in line with current market rates. As the market value of cardboard fluctuates, we review our payment rates as necessary. We use a clamp truck (moffet) to lift your stacked bales off the pallets and on to our lorry. This service is much safer than you loading bales with a normal forklift and will also save you loading time.

Polythene

We offer a free collection for baled polythene film on pallets and pay revenue in line with current market rates. The grade of plastic can greatly effect the rebate offered, our expert Recycling Advisors will help distinguish what value your material is.
